I take out a temporary loan, FNB debits my account the following day for the remainder of the money in my account, as a loan repayment.

My wife takes out a temp loan (also from FNB) - transfers money in to my account, and that get debited as well. Now the loan is repaid, they made R200 out of this, and I'm back at square one? I phone them, escalate to the manager. "I'm sorry sir, there's nothing we can do, the terms and conditions stipulate that the money will be debited as soon as there is money put in to the account" The terms and conditions I accepted, stipulated that the amount would be debited on the 28th of next month. - I know this, because I wanted to make special arrangement to repay the loan on the 25th of this month.

All this after FNB double debited me in December as well. After debiting me on the 15th of December (debit order date supposed to be 25th). On that one the reply was, "people get paid earlier in December, so we decided to debit on the 15th". So after a big back and forth, they agreed to refund the debit amount, and re debit on the 25th. They ended up debited me again on the 25th, without returning the previous debit from the 15th. The list continues...
