My brother bought a house last year and the insurance assessed the house and covered everything. It then happened that the outside wall fall due to the strong wind and hard rain. First time the insurance repaired the wall with no issues. Second time they refuse to fix the wall and say its a construction defect. A construction defect is picked up when you assess the house and state that you wont cover certain portions. Not when you need something to be repaired then you are told its a construction defect. This is just a mere refusal to pay for repairs. If you are thinking of taking this insurance, don't bother.
