DMC has been pressing me for payment on an Edgars account that I never owned. I did have a Jet account, and it seems that someone opened an Edgars account in my name while my Jet account was still active. I have been told by Edcon that it is not possible to open two accounts with two different stores belonging to Edcon at the same time, so it seems to me that perhaps someone working for the Edcon group might have been the culprit. After getting an affidavit from the police and faxing and emailing it to them on countless times, to countless email addresses, I have still not received any feedback from them regarding the account.
I keep having to phone them to find out what is going on, but they never seem to receive anything I fax or email.
Perhaps if they can provide me with another 10 email addresses and fax numbers and I post it and maybe even hand deliver it to them, they might receive it. I need this matter to be resolved as it has been dragging on forever and it is giving me a bad credit rating.
