After a long and drawn out case with my car getting i was advised to to to the ombudsman. 6 months later i accepted a shortfall not knowing any better. My short term insurance payed me 10 000 less. I have a recorded telephone call stating that the short term will pay my deposit, excess and what i owe the bank. I even have a copy of the sms stating my claim has been approved. Short term did not pay the 10 000 and did not inform me. I was refered to ombudsman again and was assured that if i was not happy with the outcome LTS will assist. "KINDLY NOTE? We must agree with the ombudsman. YOU DO NOT HAVE A CASE! The payout was as per the insurers terms and conditions. We suggest you accept this. Should you wish to take it to court you wil have to do so at your own expense"
I will be canceling my longstanding membership with this pathetic company.
