Enquiries number goes to fax regarding credit card

My Absa Garage card had expired over a year ago, and upon applying for a new one Absa had denied
sending me a new one as i was owing R700 - even though i had made payments every month.
After deciding i didnt want another garage card i payed it off and was supposed to let them know when
it was up to date (which i felt is their job) upon which they would forward me the new card. I had payed it
up and had not notified them as i did not want a new card. Guess what... to my supprise i received a statement
this month with an owing balance almost a year later... i have not had a card to use since beggining last year?

thinking this was i tried contacting the numbers on the statement... although its the same contact number for international clients it goes straight to fax.. i cannot use the self service as it asks for an expiry date which i dont have cuz i dont have a card?

i have been with ABSA since it was Trust Bank in the early 90s as a kid and my first car i bought through them and my business acc is with them... but the last couple years their service has been terrible.
