As per the new pricing system on some of the packages, Absa will subtract money for your credit card use as a flat rate and then repay it into your cheque account. They started subtracting the money but never put me on the new structure, meaning they have been taking my money, but not refunding it as per the pricing structure.
I have been struggling to get an answer for more than 2 weeks but the pricing department seems to not be considering this as a real issue. Absa owes me three months worth of refunds. Their answer so far was only that I was not put on new structure. So then why did you subtract money and put me on the new structure or must I do that job for you too?! I'm sure they have done this to many people and are pulling a good amount of interest off of this.
It is unacceptable to wait so long for an issue so simple to fix. Even saying that you might move to another bank gets shrugged off because it seems you are just a number.
