Today I called Absa about my personal loan. I actually asked them if I can increase my loan installment with a R1000 a month, because I got a big raise, and can afford to pay more. Then the lady told me I must go into a branch, cannot do it over the phone??? You can make payment arrangements over the phone, but when you actually one of the few to want to increase you payment, they make it so hard possible? I work in town, take the train everyday, never take lunch. It is very difficult for me to get to a bank. I do not understand in this time of technology and age, that you must go to the branch for this. On the other hand Standard bank increased my home loan installment over the phone in like 40 seconds?! Dont understand what is happening at Absa
