Standard Bank is refusing to update the incorrect

I am frustrated. I once had a credit card with Standard Bank and they sent my account to the external collection agency, LGR attorneys even though I went to the bank to make the arrangement to pay in May 2011 due to some challenges I had at the time. I then arranged with LGR to pay R2000.00 per month for a period of about 36 months. I paid the full amount of R52000.00 in 9 months from Oct 2011- Jul 2012 and LGR advised to contact the bank to update my record.
Standard Bank refused to update my records on the credit beaureau - the status is only showing closed from July 2012. Now it looks like I missed all the instalments between Oct 2011 - July 2012, as this appears on my credit record. I now want to buy a house, I cant - the very same bank declined my homeloan application on the basis of poor credit management with the credit card issue. I showed them all the proof of payments, the communications with no sucess. I had 14 accounts in my life, 13 of which I paid and closed before the time. I now only have a car account, which I will pay off a year early, an EXCELLENT CREDIT score of 972/1000 by my transunion. I CANT BUY a house and I have given up on bank.
