I have been a Flexiclub member for more than 15 years. Over the years their service has gone from bad to non-existent. I can NEVER get the holiday I want, they never reply to mails sent via their website. They never return calls even after promising that they will.
I own more than 10 000 points and have a credit of R 19 000.00 in Holiday savings. Due to poor service and unavailability of suitable bookings (always full) I phoned the Call Centre to ask what would happen if I terminated my membership. Guess what? I lose the points and money - not refundable they say. I was told that I could still use the points and Holiday Savings even after termination. WHERE? since I cannot get a booking of my choice when I want unless I book almost a year in advance. I wrote a mail requesting termination and telling Flexiclub that they could have MY points and MY money as a donation. True to form - no response even though I have a read receipt from my mail. Websites show that frustrated members cant even GIVE away their points. Nobody wants them. Outside of Flexiclub they less than worthless, but they will SELL you points for R11.00 apiece.
