ALTECH AUTOPAGE DONT GIVE A

My wife's phone was handed in for repairs on 21 Jan 2013 at Altech Autopage Canal Walk. They confirmed that the phone was under guarantee and that repairs would be carried out within 4 -6 weeks at no cost. They have renegaded on their responsibility to honour this promise - it's nearly 9 weeks later and we still have no phone. They now want us to authorise repairs at our cost for R471! Attempts to escalate have proved useless - trying to get to someone senior is impossible as the store will not provide such information. I will never support this company again and will be sure to tell all and sundry of this experience. The summary below demonstrates Altech Autopage's incompetence in handling this matter: 1st follow up 5 Mar as no feedback received since 21 Jan; 2nd follow up 6 Mar as no response to 5 Mar; 3rd follow up 7 Mar as no response to 6 Mar; informed of repairs cost at R471 on 7 Mar, eventually - we object in writing. 12 Mar - request for written feedback that JHB insist repairs will need to be paid for is ignored; 15 Mar subsequent follow up ignored. We have now been given the silent treatment. I am highly disgusted. The contention that we are Valued Customers is a laugh
