I host several dedicated servers with afrihost and pay over R130 000 per year for that "privilege".
As one of the server hosts email marketing software there is a chance of Spam being sent by unscrupulous clients.
Whenever a spam report is sent to me, I immediately action it.
the last spam report we received stated that a complaint was received and that three IP address (All on the same server) was involved, and because of this they will suspend my servers.
Now that is all fine and well, except they suspended ALL of my servers without thinking that non offending customers (That dont even use the email marketing software) would also suffer because of this.
My other servers are for websites and normal mailboxes of over 450 clients and their staff.
When I asked them how they could justify that they said that thy couldn't give me an answer since no-one has even looked at the old spam reports te see where these originated from, if they did their due diligence only the one server would be suspended (Obvious BS since neither server is used for email marketing)
Do Not host dedicated servers with Afrihost, they don't care about their customers.
