I reported that we don't have HSDPA coverage in Westonaria and the surroundings viz: Westonaria town, Hillshaven, Simunye & Bekkersdal.
There is only coverage for EDGE which is bad. It can take anything from a minute and half to minutes to open a webpage. It's a pathetic experience trying to access emails and even worse trying to download something. You can't download a MB file successfully without getting that download session being terminated before even reaching halfway.
I reported this in July but nothing happened. I was surprised to find out that in some rural areas there is HSDPA coverage but not available for a town. I further mentioned that and i was promised that Cell c is in a process to upgrade network in Gauteng and Westonaria was scheduled to be upgraded by the end of October then the whole of Gauteng by the end of November but still nothing has changed. When you report to a customer care, they can't help but refer you to a network department where they try to pinpoint a problem either to your sim card or a handset. When you want to talk to a supervisor or, it i's almost impossible not mentioning a manager.
