Still paying contract that expired 6 months ago

My contract expired and it was not cancelled. I went to wonderpark csb to cancel it and they told me it will be cancelled in a months time. I am still paying the contract. I called the call centre they told me to pay R311.59 and on the 1st of november it will be cancelled. Its still active and the call centre agent told me i must go to the branch for cancellation. Why should i go there. I did my part so they should cancel this stupid contract. They not going to get any cent from me not now or ever. This is disgusting. They must not make money through customers by them.
