SHOCKING BUSINESS PRACTICES

How DARE you send me pre-recorded messages on your services!!
It's SPAM.
I did not ask for you to call me and play me messages on my cell phone for your products.
It is disrespectful to say the very least. At least on my computer I can set SPAM filters, for your marketing campaigns which I did not ask to be part of, I cannot block you.

You violate the following Consumer Affairs Act 7 of 1996 rights:
Right to Privacy
Right to Choose
Right to Fair and Responsible Marketing
Right to Accountability by Suppliers.

Right to Privacy:
It is my personal cell phone and it violates my privacy. I did not ask for them to advertise to me on my cell phone, it is an invasion of my privacy.

The right to Choose:
That is unsolicited marketing, it is worse than email Spam because I have to hold the phone and listen to the entire offering before I can opt out. There is no way for me to also filter out these calls.

The Right to Fair and Responsible Marketing:
I did not give this company permission to call me on my personal cell phone and market their products to me. They have my number and I want to know where the marketing department received it from.
