Discrepency on data account

I have data contract with MTN allowing me 2G free for R149 p/m. Even though I'm a very active internet user for the first 8 months of the contract, paid no more than the monthly cost of the contract. While I didnt recognise a marked increase in my usage, the account charge dramatically increased to R700 and continued increasing until my last bill of R1000 .I contacted MTN's call centre and requested the itemised billing. I was told it would take up to 24 hrs for it to be emailed to the very email address MTN has on record and sends my bills to. Two days and weekend later- no itemised billing. I followed up with MTN call centre and the agent could not explain why I hadnt received the ITB. Again, the request was made and a promise of 24 hrs. Two days later again, no itemised billing. I contacted the called centre a 3rd time and same story. I then escalated it to the MTN ombudsman who assisted promptly and I received the ITB.What it shows is a discrepency. The ITB shows the spend is R700 for 20 May - 20 Jun but the amount debited for Jun is R1000 . I cannot get an answer from anyone, not even the ombudsman to account for the discrepency. I am concerned and need answers.what is MTN up to?
