I pay for a dat bundle in addition to my BIS (i have a blackberry). i cannot use this bundle because it defaults to MTN PLAY, a web page consisting of adverts only. Cannot navigate away from this page. i have have spent hours day after day on the phone trying to get this problem rectified.
The self help line does not work, actually has a message telling you that the self help option is not operational. When you then choose the operator nine out of ten times the line goes dead at ONCE. Or they then transfer you to somebody else and the lines goes dead at once. If you ask to speak to a manager or a senior customer relations person, they cut you off immediatedly.
I then tried the online route. Got a form letter back referring me to the self help line.!
Am considering not renewing my contract when it expires soon. At least cancel the data package if getting me back on line is too difflecult for the tech staff.
