Pick 'n Pay
Milk sold on day of expiry date

With the cost of living what it is today, it is such a relief to know that we have a voice, like HELLO PETER to express our dissatisfaction when receiving inferior products or services.

On the 7th of March 2013 I quickly popped into the Pick 'n Pay branch in Durbanville to do some shopping. Been in a hurry, I was unable to check each and every product for an expiry date to make sure it wasn't spoilt. There is nothing more annoying than waking up first thing in the morning, making a cup of coffee and, when adding the milk, find that the milk is sour.

The expiry date on the milk was the 7th march 2013. That is totally unexceptable. They should not be selling milk which expires on that same day. A litre of milk usually stays fresh for at least two to three days in my fridge. I did make a call to the store, at my expense, and was told to come come to the store to sort out the problem, which I have to do during my lunch time at my expense. So sick of it.. I am so tired of complaining about silly things but refuse to stop. Prices go up every day and we are expected to just except it. Some things are beyond my control but complaining is still my right.
