Last year, Levi's SA launched a range of 511 Jeans aimed at the Urban Cyclist, they even had a Pop-up store in Braamfontein promoting this unique range of jeans.
I wanted to buy a pair for Christmas, and the Sandton City store said they were waiting for stock.
I tried again close to the end of the year, still no stock.
In Jan, I called Sandton City, asked the guy on the phone if they had received stock yet, his answer was "No"
I asked the guy if he knew when they would get stock, his answer: "I dont know"
I asked to speak to the Manager, his answer was also, "We can't say"
I gave them my details to call me when they had stock, and nothing ever came from it.
I then escalated this to Head Office Customer Care, who were all on training when I called, and they said they would call me back, nothing came of that either.
I then called again a few weeks later, and the lady was a little more helpful and did call me back, only to say they dont have any stock in the country, she also couldnt say if they were getting again.
I find this absolutely unprofessional, as a few stores have stock of the various colours but not the standard "Indigo Rinse" Blue Jean which I want.
