My husband and I purchased a Salton tumble drier from Makro Germiston 2 years ago. The timer blew, so I went to Makro to report it to Cliff. He was then supposed to get Salton to come out and fix it for me. He assured me he would get Salton to call me. Firstly, I waited 45 minutes to speak to Cliff. Then he would not report the fault while I was there, he assured me he would do it. It was a Monday and it was not busy. 3 weeks later NO ONE called. I called Salton myself and they gave me the number of their independent servicing department who called me the next day and the came the same day to fix the tumble drier. To this day I am still waiting for Cliff's feedback on my machine. Quick to sell, but not so quick to fix! So I shall not be buying any appliances from Makro again!
