A colleaugue and I walked pass a Promotion's Box on stationery, the sign read and I quote since I took a picture of it: On Promotion, STATIONERY ASSORTED SET ONLY R10.00. There was an assortment, the original price on some was R10 and on others was R20. It was clear that the promotion was R10 and NOT from R10. Zubair came to me. I was never insulted and humiliated in a public shop before as I was today. I tried to explain to him what the sign was saying BUT in a very rude and arrogant manner he told me that he does NOT have to listen to me and that any person with common sense can see that the prices are R10 and R20. There were two boxes but there was no price on the second box. Again I tried to explain to him that the sign says it is a promotion so it appears that the original price on some was R20 but it is now marked down to R10. The sign does NOT say FROM R10, but it says an ASSORTMENT for R10!! I was degraded and publicly humiliated, I am actually in tears now. I was loyal to that store for over 20 years!!! He said I could put it on Hello Peter because he does not care.
