I bought 3 peices of Chikka chicken from Spar Vorna Valley on Monday around 7pm. I ate it for lunch Tuesday.By the evening I had serious cramps and a rummy tummy. I was no better by Wednesday morning after having taken over the counter meds and not sleeping the whole night and went to my Dr, who diagnosed food poisining and gave me anti-biotics and booked me into hospital for the day to sit with a drip. The chicken is the only thing that I ate aside from bread on that day, so nothing else could have caused it. Spar must keep their deli food for two hours max and then toss it if this is what happens. Fortunately i have medical aid cover or else i would have had to be admitted to a public hospital due to the food poisining!!! Am utterly disgusted they kept vrot food to seel to customers.
