The shop is cluttered to a point where you don't know where to find the items you're looking for. no names of products on isles, basically. total chaos. I get home with my groceries and 3 packs of the Sea harvest fish I bought is rotten, slimy, discoloured, I had to throw it away as it was making the whole house to stink. utter waste of money. That is nothing compared to the treatment you get from the cashiers. I went to a till serviced by Thabisile Skhosana and she was sooooo slow to a point where I asked her to speed it up as the queues were extremely slow and she was taking her time. she rolled her eyes and told me with an attitude and said " wena u fast emsebenzini wakho mos" meaning " you are fast at your work" I assume she's saying I must take over if I think I can do a btter job. I asked her who her manager is and she just pointed in space. I asked for a name and she said Paticia. I didn't even take it up with her because I feel shoprite doesn't train their people on customer service and maybe they feel its a waste of time since the shops are mainly for blacks. I'm disgusted and felt disrespected as a client.
