I have just left your store, on Sunday 8th of September at 11:30 am, empty handed, the lamb stew pieces your butcher had were shocking and nothing but pure fat and bone, I use lamb stew regularly and am well aware that it is not a lean or prize cut but this was ridiculous, I asked the butcher if he could cut me a slightly more acceptable batch and was greeted with a simple no it can't be done... Not the right answer in a customer satisfaction related business.
I proceeded to dump all the other items I had in my basket and left your store disappointed.
This, incidentally, was my first time in your store... Not a great start after all the hype I've heard!
It is a wonderful shop and looked, by far, the best food lovers of the many across the country that I've shopped at, a pity then that my experience, and plans on a Sunday lamb potjie, were ruined by the unhelpful butche
