Bad Service is Bad for Business

I bought a linen pants for my wife as a Christmas gift. I enquired about the returns policy from the assistant, Fatima, should my wife not be happy with the pants. She assured me that the pants will be exchanged for something else or alternatively they will give me a credit note, but it should be within seven days.

As fate would have it my wife needed to change the pants and we encountered Judy. On hearing that it was an exchange she was immediately not being very helpful and her first comment was: 'that should fit you'. We could not make any headway with Judy and she also informed that they do not provide credit notes. We were also advised to hold on to the pants as she will not take it back and that we can exchange it when they get a bigger size and that there was no seven day policy within which the exchange should happen. She also assured us that she would do her best to find another size.

Needless to say she never called us back nor did she even bother to return our calls. We eventually called head office to complain of the bad service and Judy's attitude. But they never dealt with it. We instead sold the pants to a friend.

No more OUT of BLUE ever.
