On Friday 09 August 2013, I popped into the Spar in Stellenbosch to get some ready made food to eat. On my way home to Kenilworth, I was was munching on hot chips and found that half of the chips were stail! The lady behind the counter that helped be re-fried a portion of chips and added some of the stail chips in between my hot chips. I would've never expected this from Checkers (especially not a stellenbosch branch) When i got home the carot cake was stail too! The expiry date was 13 August 2013 but it had a 2cm thick layer of icing and the carrot cake was bit burnt and tastless! Im really disgusted by CHECKERS IN STELLENBOSCH. I've always had known that checker's standards were high but friday's incident just spoilt it for me. I hope no one else out there ever buys carrot cake or hot chips from CHECKERS IN STELLENBOSCH!!!
