On Father's Day, I went to the PnP liquor outfit on William Nicol to buy a bottle of Johnnie Walker Double Black which was an advertised special. Needless to say there was no stock and Eric told me that none had been delivered. I then insisted on a raincheck. This is clearly a most unusual occurence as not only is there no register as you might expect, but I had to wait a considerable time for Eric to try and locate a pen and paper. This mission, equal to the trials of Hercules being fruitless, we had to resort to a bit of tillroll and the cashiers pen. My details having been recorded I have now waited in vain for two weeks for Pick 'n Pay to get back to me. They drag you into the shop for non-existent specials and then show you a toffee afterwards. Nice one PnP, no wonder you are finding it impossible to compete with Checkers.
