Gauteng Horse Society (an NPO) cancelled the security subscription with ADT in 2009. ADT continued to take funds via debit order until 2012. They cannot even find Gauteng Horse Society on their system and have not delivered any service since 2009 but still took off their subscription. Therefore Gauteng Horse Society should be re-imbursed for the cancelled subscription from 2009. ADT have been phoned and emailed about this but to no avail. Louise Mileham was also supposed to sort this out and escalate a refund for this. A company cannot take funds especially from an NPO, provide no service for over three years and not refund. They sent a bill to the value of R 3793.13. On receiving this we emailed to say that nothing is owed by us and ADT should refund us - the email was returned - the email on their correspondence is an invalid address.
We have unseccessfully tried to contact ADT to no avail. On Friday morning, 12 July 2013, a call was received from some colelction agency to say that the above amount must be paid and that ADT have handed Gauteng Horse Society over for this amount. We DO NOT owe ADT any money - to the contrary ADT owed us a refund for three years.
