Yesterday I went in to a DSTV service provider in Paarl to swop my Smart Card. They gave me a card with the new smart card that explained trouble shooting. When I got home I inserted the card and got E17 message. I sent about 8 sms's to the number on the card and still no service I phoned the helpline and followed the self service voice prompts, but got an error message and was told to wait for an operator, I waited for some time to reach a operator last night, and then just hang up. My new card number is 4281 9807 258 and it still shows the E17 error message, I am very frustrated that we are still paying for this service but can't use it AT ALL... This is very frustrating!!
