We bought a holiday property from above mentioned agent, at first all went well then all the correspondence and communication stopped abruptly. A few months later after numerous calls and e-mails we were informed that the agent left months ago and no-one has bothered to contact.
I had and still have no assistance regarding this transaction. I has to phone around to attorneys etc just to hear that the property has already registered. It has been a month now and I have still not received any keys, electrical certificate (please note that the principle did not even know what this was), registration letter or anything.
I used an estate agent because I live in Johannesburg and needed a representative to tend to the small matters. I has to do and is still running around to sort out the details from this transaction.
Being in the industry myself I know what is expected from an agent and an agency, I will never recommend this franchise to any potential buyer or seller because you will end up doing all the work you paid for in commission yourself.
