This property presents a disgrace, affects property prices as well as invites vagrants or thugs to use the premises and long grass as a hideout for unsuspecting pedestrians or drivers who stop nearby the property etc. I have phoned AMDEC numerous times (my latest call was on the 22nd January 2014) to tell them to do a clean-up, only to be told that they don't own the grounds anymore and do not want to be associated to/with this issue any longer. They are going to remove the sign tomorrow (so they say) but their conviction is as shallow as a puddle on a sunny day. This has caused a problem as I do not know who to contact. In addition why should I be contacting them to tell them to do a cleanup and abide by our laws and by-laws when council in the area has not done so. The onus should rest on the owner who seems to be 'non-existent' when this matter is raised!!! The area is a health hazard as well as a security problem. Nobody seems to take responsibility for this problem. Please tell me what is happening with the piece of ground, as I am informed by NINO of AMDEC they are not going ahead with an old age home and that the property shall remain a problem in the area for some time?
