We filled in all valuation form disputes. Totally ignored.
My mother gets a pension of R4500 per month. Her rates this month is in excess of R4000. All the forms we filled out has been totally ignored. She subdivided the property with intention of selling it, but due to municipal restrictions on rezoning, we cannot sell the property. They have a road they want to build which requires a portion of our property. They don't buy the property either.
Furthermore, you are charged for water and sewerage, which is non existent on the property. Now they want us to prove that there is nothing on the property.
I think they should get off their, come out here and see for themselves.
I am deeply disappointed in their I DON'T GIVE A ATTITUDE. When is Khayelitsha, Nomsamo, Luhandil etc, going to pay their rates. NEVER. When you are white, you just get punished. I am SICK TO DEATH OF THIS STUPID COUNTRY. Wish I could just go somewhere else.
