I attended the funeral in Makapanstad near Hammanskraal on sunday the 5th of May. The houses in the area i went to still do not have flushing toilets, they are still using the "Pit " toilet
On our way back home we decided to use the " Highway " going to Soshanguve, that route ( /- 10km) consits only of pot holes and no electricity. For the 8 of the 10 km we were driving on the gravel road instead of the tar road because of the potholes.
For the 1st 2 kilometer's or so there were ordinary guys from the community filling the potholes with sand. At least the community have realised that the tar road is not usable at all. What about the Municipality?
To think that taxis have to transport passengers on that tar road it leaves me wondering about the accidents that take place there on a daily basis.
The municipality should start providing the service that they are paid to do.
