Afrox started an advert on 702 which IMPLIED that if the Customer brought two cylinders in they get one at no charge! i.e. bring two and get one free.
I had to travel almost 20kms to their Branch in Boksburg (and another 20 back) only to discover that it was a total rip-off! The Customer has to hand in both cylinders but ONLY gets back ONE in return. I had to pay R217.00 for my refill but, to replace my "donated" cylinder would cost me almost R500.00. As a Pensioner I'm not into this sort of expenditure and wastage of petrol.
I wrote to the "Contact us" at Afrox to complain and got any auto-response telling me they'd be in contact shortly. Ha! That was almost two weeks ago!!
However, I've got an Easigas Supplier within 4km of where I live so guess where I'll be taking my business in future?
