In December I took my Renault Scenic to Wonderwaters complaining about a vibration on the airconditioner. It took them the whole day to inform me that they will have to replace the gearbox mounting. I had to take the car back the next week as I'm staying in Brits and need the car. I took the car in and after a long day's wait they assured me that the problem is sorted. During the holiday we drove down to Cape Town and on our way to Hermanus smoke started to come from under the hood and we had to stop and turn back to Cape Town. We established that the problem was once again with the air conditioner. A mechanic told us that it is the air-conditioner pulley. We had to replace the belt and could not use the ac all the way back home. I send an email to Renault requesting them to tell me were to take my vehicle to be properly fix and I had no reply. According to the mechanic in Cape Town they should have picked up the problem with the pulley when I complained about the vibration on the ac in the first place. (They also quoted me R2000 to replace the headlight. It cost me R120 at my local auto electrician to replace the bulb).
