It is now well over a month since the introduction of the E-Toll system and we went to the post office yesterday and still have no invoices from SANRAL (Originals or copy tax invoice as seems to be the norm for you to send out nowadays). We can not pay at the toll centres as after hours in a queue the system goes offline and we are all expected to go back another day. Are we allowed to bill you for OUR time wasted, I bet not. Now my conundrum is this. I am willing to pay (with the correct proof of my vehicle being billed, albeit under duress as I do NOT agree with the system) and I am unable to receive the benefit offered for discounts as you do not provide me the paperwork timeously, there fore I feel victimised by this causing me to pay the inflated prices. Remember, a crime needs two things, one is the intention to commit it, the other is the act, I have not intention to commit a crime, so YOUR inadequacies are forcing me to commit the crime without the intention.
