I did and it was the biggest mistake of my entire renovation. The initial engagement was fine, with promises of how the end product would look as the final sealant brings out the "look" of the cement floor.
The end result looks rustic, which was the idea. The idea however was not for it to be rustic. The "self levelling screed" is so uneven that not one piece of furniture has all four legs on the floor. Streaks, drops of cement product and marks were sanded leaving black stains that was sealed with sealant. The back door steps has permanent puddles and the white bathroom floors was dirty before the sealant was applied so it's impossible to clean. I had to repaint newly painted rooms and cornices.
I was threatened to make the final payment almost two months ago and promises of cleanup on my boarder mosaics has still not realised. Splashes of cement on the walls were either painted or simply left. The foyer has pit marks and both the foyer and patio has started cracking (but we have a crack guarantee!)
My phone calls get ignored an my emails get excuses blaming others.
Find someone else or put in vinyl floors. Don't use Wesley Rodgers/ Absolute Crete/ RFC Projects.
