I did a google search on Bengal kittens and came across this website advertising kittens for R1500. I e-mailed the Jenny as stated on the website. She replied that there were three available and I choose one called Della. I thought this so be a trusting website as an address was stipulated for if one wished to go view the kittens. I live in the Gauteng area so had to request the kitten to be air transported to me. She sent me a total amount of R2040 which included the kitten price and shipping. I got another mail from the pet couriers stating I had to hire a special box at a cost of R4225 which was refundable after delivery. Another mail later saying I had to pay travel insurance for R4785 stating refundable on delivery again. I unfortunately paid all these amounts into a Standard Bank account for a M GINA. I received another call saying I had to pay an additional R14 000 to have the cat registered with the American cat institute which would once again be refundable. This I once I clicked something was wrong. All the e-mail address' were gmails and the people 'in charge' were only using cellphones to communicate. Please be very careful...
