I advertised my EOS Canon Digital camera on Gumtree for R4000 - I received an email from a buyer [Email Removed] and because he said he was in Stellenbosch and I am in Hout Bay he said to meet his brother Shaun to collect and pay for the camera at a Waterfront Garage. I waited on a sms which I received from Alberto Zilani which said a payment of R4000 had gone into my FNB account from his Investec bank account - the sms looked ligit! 3 days went by and no money was in my account - I was!!! I called both guys and threatened them - they now of course do not answer their phones. Please beware of these scamsters. I googled the cellphone number of A Zilani 0718045169 and he is advertising on Gumtree under the name of Baloyi - please do not deal with him. I have laid a charge of at the police station and the police are in the process of trying to find these characters.
