Un an event management company, Quincy was introduced to me so we could work together to bring down international artist. However since I did not know Quincy well he introduced himself to me as the only person that should bring these artist down and is hold pay him to do so. I therefore took his word for it and asked him to put contract together for this services. Late July he then drafted a fake contract that posed him as an AGENT to these artist, thereafter I paid him a down deposit of R70 000 on the 31st July 2013. We meet up in Sandton to discuss how I planned on doing the event and marketing.
Once that was paid he came back to me few days later and said I need to pay him further cost, due to that he had incurred more cost for flights- I then Paid him a further R7 000 and the after paid him R1 500 service fee.
In the middle of August when I started Marketing my event via social media, One of the artist Lars Behrenroth saw my flyers and enquired why I was using false advertising using his name. I then contacted Quincy who had never mentioned anything about me to Lars" being one of the artist I had booked via Quincy" it then got unfolded that Quincy was a fake agent and
