Lack of performance in their area of "expertise"

I engaged their services to clear an imported puppy through Customs at OR Tambo, which would be accompanying me on my flight from Frankfurt. They assured me they would pre-clear her using the documents I would email them in advance so I wouldn't have to wait unduly for both the puppy to be released from her crate and for me not to be able to easily catch the last available connecting flight to my final destination in George. I was to meet them at Lufthansa cargo where my puppy would have been delivered by the airline. I was first to arrive and when their representative finally did arrive, he appeared not to have much idea what he was doing. Scott Parker, who I had been dealing with for ages in the lead up to this import, is in Durban today with another (clearly more important) client & had not done the necessary pre-clearing. This after I had sent all the necessary documentation plus the waybill number. If he had required the actual waybill and not just the number, he should have been in touch with me and I could have arranged to send it/have it sent. Alternatively he should have been in touch with the cargo agent in Frankfurt whose contact details he had from me.
