I INITIALLY WROTE ON 04 JAN
I had gel nails done with tips on the 15th Dec 2012. My appointment was at 330pm and I only left the salon around 6pm. I had gel overlays on my natural nails before but had no idea why this took so long?
On Monday the 31st Dec I decided I need to remove them as they were cracking and braking on the sides. DNB Kenilworth said they had no openings so I booked with another salon who struggled for 2 hours with 2 ladies to get the nails off. They questioned why so many layers had been put on - which I counted close to 6 including top coat. eventually they managed to file the nail off but now my nails are weak and sore as they had to file right to my own nail to get the gel off. The acetone soaking or scraping could not do it.
I have taken pictures to show my damaged nails but sadly I will not be going back to DNB Kenilworth. So much money to kill my nails??
