In May of this year we started the search for a beautiful place for my mothers 70th birthday.
We came across the Victoria and Alfred hotel and absolutely loved the area for the function.
Well talk about shoddy service!!! We have them all our details and they arranged to contact us with prices and etc so we could book and pay. Needless to say Chris the manager made promises he did not keep. Maybe it was because we were not dressed as upper class customers with money. Never judge a book by its cover.
Today someone from the hotel phoned with the audacity to ask us about our booking. What booking??? You never bothered to contact us!!! We have already gone to the Mount Nelson hotel and spent way over 10 000 rand on this function!!! You lost out on a sale! The sad thing is if they can treat South Africans like that how are they treating our international customers??? I will never recommend anyone to have functions there and that's a big loss as I work in the media world.

I think it's time you got a better manager and one with better communications skills cause the one you have is c$#*
