I purchased and redeemed a voucher for Vanilla nails on 21 June. It was for a manicure, pedicure and gel overlay. When I arrived there was no sign on the building, which looked like an outhouse or farm store. There was no door on the room and it was freezing. There was not hot water and the unqualified therapist boiled a kettle to obtain hot water for the foot spa. The carpets were filthy and I balanced my foot on the footspa so as not to touch the carpet with my naded feet. The water got cold so fast and the fan heater made no difference. The therapist kept apologising althoug she was leaving that same day since she had resigned after only 3 days and alot of complaints from other customers. She filed right through toenail on my right foot leaving it raw. The gel would not stay on and I was told that due to the cold it shrunk away from the nails edge and she was having the same problem with previous clients or it peeled off immediately. I said she could paint instead, but the french was not done very neatly on my toes, I had to touch up when I got home. I also had to scrub my feet since she had done half a job. I did not ven let her finish my hands and left.
