I recently purchased a 6kg pack of Protein shake and was surprised to find some unknown contaminants in the powder. The contaminants were several dark brown particles of various sizes. I wrote to USN and provided the pictures of the contaminants and batch number.
Their response was simply to state that dark brown pieces was "whey powder and sugar which crystallized due to the heat and blending" and that "the product is still safe to use."
This is utterly pathetic service, USN haven't even physically inspected the contaminants and yet they assure me that it's safe. What's further annoying is that they expect me to sift through 6kg of powder to find other contaminants and remove them myself.
This is certainly not the quality I paid for!
