Yesterday (27.06.2013) I went onto gumtree looking for chicken laying egges for sale. I came across an advert saying "brown and white eggs for sale" and these people claimed to be a member of Agri Portal Africa which is a well known agriculture company.
I gave these guys a call and enquired about their service, they told me that they have a chicken farm and they can gladly help me. I am also an upcoming chicken farmer so I wanted to buy cages, laying hens, chicken food and feeding containers.
This guy who is claiming to be Mazi with an 0604044950 number took my order and sent me an invoice for R650 and i deposited the money into their standard bank account. I also gave them my address where the goods must be delivered. When I tried calling him this morning checking on my order, the phone is off, so I am confused how Agri Portal Africa can be a member of with such people.
I am writing this with sadness and concern that I've been robbed and lots of poeple are still going to be robbed.
How do I go about recovering my money from such people, or atleast get these people and be locked up?
