In October last year I had a saddle fitter from The Tack Shack come out to fit saddles on my horse. On her advice I bought the Wintec Wide.
As the weeks went on I began to notice that my horse was not himself, I called the fitter back to re-check the saddle on the 31/01.2013 and she made some adjustments. Weeks went by and there was still something wrong so I called out the physio who confirmed his saddle was definitely causing a lot of pain. I had an independent fitter out for a 2nd opinion in March and she said that the saddle could never and will never fit him. I then requested a refund and was refused. They say I bought the saddle knowing it was not a good fit which is a BLATANT LIE! The fitter said it was a 95% good fit and it was definitely not.
This week I had a third opinion from yet another fitter, she was shocked that I was sold a saddle that fits so badly. Therefore I have 3 different professional opinions who say that the saddle would never have and never will fit my horse.
I am doing this on principal so that others may avoid this expensive mistake. I will lose approx. R2000 as I now have to sell as second hand after using the saddle for 6 months.
