On a day when all reasrurants in umtata are closed due to respect for Mandela's funeral we happened to walk into ebony restaurant where we were seated and given menus to order. As we were preparing to order a lady i assume is the manager or owner came out and informed us the place is closed until later and we cannot get served. Her staff is tired and has been working all night they need rest. How we wish we had been informed of such before being seated and enticed with a delicious menu. I really felt angry at the treatment we got and hope our international visitors on this epic occassion were not given the same treatment.
