Why am I paying??

Why do I pay insane amounts of money every month to be on the Optimum plan, but I get minimal benefits? I cant get the basic medical benefits, but I pay a premium price. I received prescription contacts lenses at the start of 2013, but only 6 months supply. You can only wear a pair for a month. If I wear them for two, they start damaging my eyes. Last week Friday I called the call center to inquire if I have any optical benefits left, they person helping me responded that I have over a R1000 left to get my lenses with. So, I went to Golden Vision Optometrists in Silver Lakes to order my NECESSITIES. The lady mailed me back saying that Moto-Health declined my claim as I have no more Optical benefits. I do minimal claims on my medical aid just in case of situations like this or emergencies, and I pay a price to have peace of mind. I wish I wrote down the reference number of the call, but somehow I still trust people for some unknown reason. Firstly, I was to by your call center, and secondly, how does one survive with only 6 months prescription? I would love to see how we get this matter sorted out. I am sure I have lots of other benefits I can deplete since I am paying.
