I was given incorrect information by a Blingstallation agent at Makro Woodmead. This then necessitated me having to spend an ADDITIONAL R520 (on top of R550) plus a further R650 (which they then refunded because they came back and removed the part saying it was unnecessary!!??). I reported the matter to Makro and Calvin from Blingstallation responded on behalf of the CEO saying that they would refund the installation costs because of the bad experience and inconvenience (they also told us the PVR decoders were faulty - that's why they couldn't get them to work. We took them into MNET who checked them and said they were absolutely fine!). After months of trying to resolve the matter, Seema then took over and read all the correspondence and listened to all the phone calls between Calvin and myself. She said he HAD in fact told me they would refund the installation costs but that I couldn't expect work done at no charge!!! I reminded her - again - that I was given incorrect information at the outset which had created the problem and inconvenience. Be very careful when getting a quote/information from Blingstallation - read ALL the small print - they're one of those companies!!
