I was a LLB Law student at Tuks in 2008, I only finished that year, as I could financially not afford to continue in 2009. I went to the student enquiries office early in January 2009, there is a cut-off date for cancelation of studies therefor I went to her before the cut-off time, if I remember correctly it was the day or the day before classes started for 2009, and spoke to a black lady, unfortunately do not remember her name, who told me to sit down in her office upstairs so she can cancel my studies. She informed me that it was now canceled and handed me a document. Now, 4 years later only I am informed that there is a judgement against my name for unpaid fees for 2009 (WE SETTLED ALL PAYMENTS FOR 2008) - and you expect me to still have the proof of cancellation? I NEVER continued at TUKS in 2009 due to my family being financially unable to afford it. How do you expect me to pay for a year that I never attended? I want this sorted, or escalated to CGC, Daily Sun, Hellopeter, Ombudsman I don't care. I can not afford to pay R33k! If I could I would still be studying! Sherise
